I actually was introduced to it through these Phoenix Wrong parodies and I decided to see what the real thing was like and man, it was really cool, what sealed it for me was the second case Ace Attorney, man, that one was just so intense, so awesome. great story, great character development and it set the stage for what was to come.
I think I like it so much because it plays out like an action anime or something, except it's a video game and it's in a courtroom. You have Phoenix the fiery, act first-think later hero; Maya the hyper, slightly scatterbrained, yet super supportive mystic girl; Edgeworth the cold, collected rival; the bumbling yet lovable big oaf that is detective Gumshoe, as well as Franziska, Pearls, and whole cast of great characters.
I decided to watch them on youtube because I don't have the money to buy a DS or GBA and the games, and I'm not sure if I'd be able to get the good endings I would like without lots of retrying and frustration. Besides, it plays out well as it is. Personally I think it would be really cool if they made a TV show or something out of it. Though I have started watching this fan-anime closing of Phoenix Wright that someone made. You can watch it here:[link] I'm not sure where the song is from but it fits pretty well.
You can watch the playthroughs of the games here: [link]
He has Justice for All (2nd game), Trials and Tribulations (3rd game), and Apollo Justice in playlists. He does have all of the first one, just not all in a playlist.
So, it's worth checking out. If you do I suggest going in order since it could get a little confusing doing things otherwise.
So, I just thought I'd let it out since talking to people about it helps me settle down after watching something really cool. If only I could be that eager and fired up when it came to my faith but either way, good night
